Which of the following are common clinical manifestations of appendicitis?

R.O. is a 12-year-old girl who lives with her family on a farm in a rural community. R.O. has four siblings who have recently been ill with stomach pains, vomiting, diarrhea, and fever. They were seen by their primary care provider(PCP)and diagnosed with viral gastroenteritis. A week later, R.O. woke up at 0200 crying and telling her mother that her stomach “hurts really bad!”she had an elevated temperature of 37.9° C(100.2°F).R.O. began to vomit over the next few hours, so her parents took her to the local emergency department(ed). R.O.'s vital signs, complete blood count, and complete metabolic panel were normal, so she was hydrated with IV fluids and discharged to home with instructions for her parents to call their PCP or to return to the ed if her condition did not improve or if it worsened. Over the next 2 days, R.O.'s abdominal pain localized to the right lower quadrant, she refused to eat, and she had slight diarrhea. On the third day, she began to have more severe abdominal pain, increased vomiting, and fever that did not respond to acetaminophen. R.O. has returned to the ed. Her Vs are 128/78,130,28,39.5°C(103.1°F).

R.O. is guarding her lower abdomen, prefers to lie on her side with her legs flexed, and is crying. IV access is established, and morphine sulfate 2 mgIV is administered for pain. Anabdominal CT scan confirms a diagnos is of appendicitis .R.O.'s white blood count is 12,000 mm3.

Imagine you are a member of a newly developed diversity team in your workplace Reflection

Imagine you are a member of a newly developed diversity team in your workplace. Your team is considering how individual identity contributes to cultural diversity. Your team leader has asked each member to take time to reflect on the personal identity and the aspects of cultural diversity you represent and how understanding your own traits affect your perspective of cultural diversity. Keep in mind that identity is more than what people “see” when they look at you. Write a 525- to 700-word reflection, completing the following: Using what you learned in the reading assignments for Weeks 1 and 2, describe what cultural diversity means to you. Include identifiers of cultural diversity such as race, ethnicity, class, gender, sexual orientation, language, age, disability, religion, and so on. (Remember, there is a variety of characteristics of and contributors to cultural diversity.) List 4 cultural identifiers that you identify with most (e.g., Asian American, female, and so on). (CLINICIANS-END USERS; PATIENTS AND VENDORS)

Before any health information system can be successfully implemented, there must be a team of experts who understand the vision and mission of both the health care organization and its stakeholders. Strategic health care leaders are positioned to propose system upgrades and/or implementations that can withstand inevitable organizational changes. Health information systems’ leaders understand that data is the overall management of the availability, usability, integrity and security of the data. Choose at least three health information systems’ leaders and/or stakeholders, and define their role in the implementation of health information systems (CLINICIANS-END USERS; PATIENTS AND VENDORS). All the following items must be addressed in your paper: • Compare and contrast the limitations and opportunities in enterprise-wide data. Defend your technology infrastructure’s ability to support organizational leadership and end-user needs. • Explain the economic impact of your proposed system acqu...
