Find a scientific journal article written within the last 5 years that discusses new research pertaining to the advancement of a manufacturing process or the advancement of a material used in a manufacturing process. The article does not need to be on a process or material that we have discussed. Articles can be found using Google Scholar, SclenceDirect, SciFinder, Web of Science. etc. You will need to be on campus or login through the UNO Library website to access article databases. Write a 34 page summary (12 Pt font) of the article that includes:
• Background on the area of Inquiry
• The significance of the research
• The methodology used In the study
• The major findings of the research
• Condusions and future directions
The summary should provide more detail than the abstract given In the article (i.e. don’t just copy the abstract!).
No sources beyond the article are required, but Indude a reference section If additional articles are used. Turn in a typed hardcopy of your summary and a copy of the journal artide (stapled together) by Monday. 4/9. Assignments
